As a gifted musician and artist, Crissy didn’t just teach music. She helped her students experience it. She gave them the confidence to stand tall, to share their voices, and to discover the joy of expressing themselves. There was a lightness in the way she taught, a gentle humour, and a deep, unwavering care that made every student feel seen, safe, and valued.
Crissy had a rare way of connecting with people, authentically, thoughtfully, and with genuine kindness. She brought creativity to everything she did, and she gave so much of herself to this community.
